ACADEMICS
As a full-fledged co-educational school with classes from Nursery to class XII, Tejas Vidyalaya has approximately 1700 children on roll every year. We are affiliated to Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar and offer both Science & Commerce stream.
Our learner – centered integrated curriculum, embraces multiple intelligences and diverse learning styles. It allows our students to gain a deeper understanding of topics and concepts studied, and to come to a better understanding of the connections between subject areas. Our adaptive
modules are developed in a ‘hands on’ way to accomplish the total learning goals in different subject areas.

Approach
Kindergarten
(Nursery, K1 & K2)
Adapted from Riverside school, Ahmedabad run by Ms. Kiran Sethi, our 3-year kindergarten programme is designed to promote the holistic development of children with key focus on early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional intelligence. Our experienced teachers create a warm and welcoming environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and imagination. The curriculum allows for optimum growth and development in the following areas: Physical – both finer and gross motor skills, Self-Help/Hygiene, Social/Emotional, Language and Cognitive abilities.
Primary
(Classes I to VIII)
Classes I and II in primary education mark the beginning of formal learning. Here the curriculum is designed to help children develop essential concepts and skills in subjects like English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and Gujarati. In Classes III to VIII, the focus is on strengthening the base across all subjects including extra-curriculars. Special projects, field trips, and engaging lessons encourage children to explore diverse interests, enhance their foundational skills, and prepare them for the next stage of learning.
Secondary
(Classes IX and X)
In the Secondary section the curriculum shifts in its focus towards preparation of students for the GSEB examination. A variety of teaching methods are added in our classrooms to address different needs of the students. The students work alone, with partners and in small and large groups and are given opportunities to apply their knowledge in problem-solving. Art, Music, Sports and other co-curricular activities are encouraged to create balance and lower stress.
Higher Secondary
(Classes XI and XII)
Commerce and Science Stream
Tejas Vidyalaya offers Commerce and Science Streams at the Higher Secondary level. Observation, experimentation, group discussions and project work become highlights of the curriculum. Students are trained to integrate knowledge with technology to face fresh challenges of an increasingly global world order. We prepare the students emotionally to handle the stress and anxiety of examination pressure. Special attention is given to students who need improvement in particular subjects
